Sat down to draw today and for what ever reason my brain was telling me to draw Weapon X.
I should’ve gone darker with the background but I need to build some confidence before I start inking big areas like that. Hope you enjoy :)
So my Mum and Dad still don’t really like my beard, my friends and the odd stranger do however. I’m gonna stick with it for a bit though as it’s also come in handy for the winter, tends to keep my face warm.
But yeah, I’m pretty happy with it for now. But knowing me, either just before or just after Christmas, I’ll end up shaving it off. But I’m dreading it, because it’ll make me look about twelve years old again. And with the facial fuzz I look a little bit more manly, a little bit.
Anyway, here it is, so far in all it’s ginger glory. I’ve had a few compliments on it, the best one being that I resemble a Viking. I’m having that :D
I ran in the Liverpool Santa Dash today. It’s the first one I’ve done and I’ve gotta say, it felt great at the end. Would definitely do it again.
It was 5km (just over 3 miles) and I managed to run it all, didn’t stop once. So I surprised myself there. There was also some sites to see as well. You know, like a fella running in fishnet stocking, dogs dressed up a reindeer or the fact that my kecks split right down the middle :S
I had shorts on underneath though, so it’s alright :)
Although it was a good laugh, I got told the Liverpool Dash is competing with the Las Vegas Dash this year to see who gets the most people to participate. Hope we win to be honest, because we’ll go in the Guinnes Book of Records :D
Also here’s a picture of me and my good mate Mick at the finish line..
Two weeks in and the beard is coming along pretty well. I still need a few more weeks before I can start trimming and shaping it, but I can wait. All the itchiness has gone, but my moustache part still looks a little thin. It’s all there, it’s just there’s alot of blonde hair. Pain in the arse I tell you :S
Also, I took this the night before, because I’m an absolute nob :D
